Port Chester resident Fermin Jaimes was arraigned in Westchester County Court on Tuesday, Oct. 29, following allegations that he sexually abused a minor repeatedly over the course of several months.

Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr., said that it is alleged that Jaimes “subjected the child victim to several acts of sexual contact on multiple occasions in the first half of 2016. The child made a disclosure of (Jaimes’) abuse to a friend and then to her mother. Port Chester Police Department arrested Fermin early today.”

Jaimes was arrested on Tuesday and charged with second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony. Bail was set at $20,000 cash bail or bond. Jaimes is scheduled to return to Port Chester Village Court on Monday, Nov. 4 to respond to the charges.
